Haad Thien , this curve beach is known among foreign tourists as Rocky Bay. The sea water is absolutely clear and the white sand beach is lined with coconut palms.
After a day of diving, snorkeling or other activities it is time to hit the nightlife of Koh Tao. There are plenty of venues to dance, watch live sports and play a game of pool or just to sip a cocktail in a relaxed atmosphere. Some of them offer live music, weekly or daily parties, pub grub or BBQ's on the beach and even theme nights. Sairee Beach is where most of the nightlife with lots of resorts and it is where it's happening at night. Just strolling up and down the beach at night is enough to keep you entertained. Fire throwers, jugglers, music and people are thrown together and make you wish you can stay forever. Most of the bars and dance spots are on the beach and some on the mountain tops.
